We offer Online training & In Person training in the industry’s leading methods, such as Tapes, Nano Rings, Micro Rings, Heat Fusion Bonds, Micro Weave, Track n Sew Weave (aka LA Weave) & the Invisible Weave! We also offer a Cutting Level 1 course, which will enable you to confidently finalize your client, using various cutting/razoring techniques. We have carefully implemented these methods of learning into tailored course packages to suit each individuals needs.
We have training courses designed for both complete beginners and hair technician/salon professionals. If you are a complete beginner looking to start your own business, or wish to introduce hair extensions as a new service within your salon, you will find all of our courses are fun and very easy to follow. We provide both Online and In Person courses tailored to accommodate each individual’s learning style for an optimal learning experience.
Yes our trainers are fully qualified, accredited and insured to teach the following methods: tape, nano rings, micro rings, tiny tips, heat fusion bonds, weaves & cutting level 1. Our trainers have an established client base of their own, and have years of experience in applying, removing and maintaining hair extensions.
The minimum entry level to enrol onto any of our courses is 16 yrs of age. You will not be able to gain public liability insurance if you are below this age. For more info, please contact us: info@vhairacademy.co.uk
Simply add your selection at checkout and choose from a variety of payment options, i.e debit or credit card, paypal, paypal credit or buy now pay later with Klarna interest free instalments. For group training, students can reserve a space by either paying in full, buy now pay later or a small deposit and pay the remainder amount 7 days prior to course start date. Full course details with be emailed shortly after booking. For Online courses, kit bags are usually dispatched same day, and all online learning material will be emailed within 12 hours of booking.
Course times vary, for example there is no completion deadline for our Online Courses and you can learn at your own pace. However most students complete their online course within 1-2 weeks, with some completing in just 1-2 days! Our In Person courses, i.e groups, in salon and 121 are completed in 1 day (10am-6pm) These are Fast track intense courses and fully certified at the end of the day.
All the relevant tools and equipment are available to purchase via our website. Simply choose your kit at checkout. We aim to be easily accessible to our students and offer UK & worldwide coverage for our Online Training. With regards to our In Person training, i.e groups and in salon we currently serve the following locations: Bristol, Newport, Cardiff & Swansea. (we are looking to reach out to wider areas over in the near future). Our 121 training is currently held in Caerphilly, South Wales, however, in some circumstances we can travel.
Yes, you will receive an accredited & insurance approved certificate upon successful completion. On successful completion you will be recognised as a fully qualified hair extension technician and will be able to submit your certificate to your chosen hair supplier for access to trade discount.
All deposits taken are non refundable, however can be held and transferred to another course at a later date, and as long as sufficient notice has been given , i.e. a minimum of 14 days. Failure to give sufficient notice will result in you having to pay a further deposit for another course date.
Group Courses: All deposits taken are non refundable, however if you need to cancel your course and have paid in full, the remainder amount paid can be refunded as long as sufficient notice has been given, i.e. a minimum of 14 days prior to course start date. You can however, transfer onto the next available course.
Online Courses: Once we have submitted our online learning material to you via email, we cannot give a full refund. We can however refund the kit bag, as long as it is returned to us in its original state, unopened and unused. Please refer to t&c’s page for more info.
Yes, all of our training courses are fully accredited by ABT and insurance approved and you will be accepted for public liability insurance. A discount has already been set up for you by our insurance providers, should you wish to choose them. We use Westminster Insurance & ABT
Yes, this is a very popular choice by students. Participating in an 121 course will provide you with quality firsthand experience in the process of fitting hair extensions. Your tutor will dedicate 100% attention to you only.
Book with a friend: If you would like to train with a friend or colleague, we offer “book with a friend discount”. Check out our 121 Private Tuition page for course options and further details. Choose from a list of available dates, if none are suitable drop us a message, as we can also offer Sundays.
All relevant learning material together with course instructions will be emailed over to you within 12 hours of booking.
Kit Bag: Estimated shipping time: 3-5 working days via 1st Class Royal Mail Tracked Service.
You will be required to provide via whatsapp or email – photo evidence of your sectioning using your training head (back & sides), as well as 2-3 fully installed rows of each method. You are also required to complete and submit a 23 question online theory paper which usually takes approx. 30 mins, all answers can be found in your training manual. Full written assessment feedback will be provided by your trainer together with your certificate. Results: Pass or Rework. If you receive s rework request, we will continue to guide you through your training and you will be required to resubmit for further assessment.
